pecan pie dip

Warm Pecan Pie Dip with Toasted Pecans and Brown Sugar

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (toasted)

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup corn syrup (or maple syrup)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

Optional Toppings:

  • Whole toasted pecans

  • Sea salt flakes

  • A drizzle of melted dark chocolate

For Dipping:

  • Graham crackers

  • Vanilla wafers

  • Pretzels

  • Apple slices

  • Shortbread cookies

Instructions

  • Toast the pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat, about 5 minutes, stirring often until fragrant. Set aside.

  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.

  • Add cream cheese and stir until fully melted and combined with the butter—smooth and creamy is what you want.

  • Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup. Keep stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture starts to bubble slightly—about 2–3 minutes.

  • Add vanilla, salt, and toasted pecans. Stir until evenly combined and glossy.

  • Serve warm in a bowl or skillet, topped with more pecans and a pinch of sea salt, if desired.

  • Surround with dippers and prepare to watch people lose their minds.
