-
1/4 cup corn syrup (or maple syrup)
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
Pinch of salt

Whole toasted pecans
-
Sea salt flakes
-
A drizzle of melted dark chocolate

Instructions
-
Toast the pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat, about 5 minutes, stirring often until fragrant. Set aside.
-
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
-
Add cream cheese and stir until fully melted and combined with the butter—smooth and creamy is what you want.
-
Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup. Keep stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture starts to bubble slightly—about 2–3 minutes.
-
Add vanilla, salt, and toasted pecans. Stir until evenly combined and glossy.
-
Serve warm in a bowl or skillet, topped with more pecans and a pinch of sea salt, if desired.
-
Surround with dippers and prepare to watch people lose their minds.
