- 6 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- Ground cinnamon, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish; let it melt in the oven.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and 1 cup sugar to form a batter.
- Pour batter over the melted butter. Do not stir.
- Toss peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon, then spoon on top of batter.
- Bake 40-45 minutes or until golden and bubbling.
- Serve warm with ice cream.
