Healthy Watermelon Fries – A Fresh Snack Twist

Ingredients

Scale

For the Fries:

  • 1/2 medium seedless watermelon, cut into fry-like sticks

For the Yogurt Dip:

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt for dairy-free)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Cut the Watermelon: Slice the watermelon into thick slabs, then cut those into fry-sized sticks (about 3/4-inch thick).
  2. Make the Dip: In a bowl, combine yogurt, lime juice, zest, and sweetener. Stir until smooth and creamy. Season with a pinch of salt.
  3. Chill Everything: Refrigerate the watermelon fries and dip for at least 30 minutes. They taste best ice-cold.
  4. Serve It Up: Arrange the fries on a plate or tray. Serve with the dip on the side or drizzle lightly over top.

Notes

Don’t cut the watermelon too thin—they’ll go limp fast. Keep them chunky like steak fries so they hold up.
