- 3 cups pretzels (mini twists or sticks)
- 2 cups rice or corn cereal squares (like Chex)
- 1 cup honey-roasted peanuts
- 1 cup roasted almonds
- 1 cup mini chocolate candies (like M&Ms)
- 1 cup popcorn (air-popped or lightly salted)
- 1 cup mini pretzel crisps or crackers
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional for oven-baked version)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick)
Instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine pretzels, cereal, peanuts, almonds, chocolate candies, popcorn, and crackers.
- Optional bake: If you want a toasted version, preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). In a small saucepan, melt butter with brown sugar and cayenne pepper. Drizzle over the snack mix and toss to coat.
- Bake (if desired): Spread mix on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, stirring halfway through. Let cool before serving.
- Serve or store: Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Notes
Make sure everything’s dry before storing, or you’ll end up with a soggy mess. Crunch is king here.
