Instructions

Step 1: Make the Red Layer

  1. Pour the red jello mix into a medium bowl.

  2. Add 1 cup boiling water and stir until completely dissolved (about 2 minutes).

  3. Stir in 1 cup cold water.

  4. Pour into small plastic 2-oz cups, filling each about one-third.

  5. Refrigerate for 45–60 minutes or until set.

Step 2: Make the White Layer

  1. Sprinkle 1 packet of unflavored gelatin over 1/2 cup cold water in a bowl. Let it bloom for 5 minutes.

  2. Add 1/2 cup boiling water and stir until gelatin is dissolved.

  3. Stir in 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup cold water.

  4. Gently pour on top of the red layer in each cup (second third).

  5. Chill for another 45–60 minutes until set.

Step 3: Make the Blue Layer

  1. In a clean bowl, combine the blue jello mix with 1 cup boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.

  2. Add 1 cup cold water and stir to combine.

  3. Pour over the white layer in each cup (top third).

  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until completely firm.

Step 4: Garnish & Serve

  1. Just before serving, top with a dollop of whipped cream.

  2. Sprinkle with red, white, and blue decorations, or pop in a mini flag.

  3. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Use a pourable measuring cup or squeeze bottle for cleaner layering.

Cool layers completely before adding the next to avoid mixing colors.

Keep the cups uniform: Use a baking tray to keep them steady in the fridge.

Use clear cups: This shows off the beautiful red, white, and blue layers.
